There are a lot of great tourniquets on the market but their size can make them awkward or difficult to carry, especially in a daily or concealed fashion directly on your person.
The Everyday Carry Tourniquet (ETQ™) is compact, roughly the size of a small multi-tool, and fits comfortably into your pocket making it easy to have on you at all times.
Features:
Carabiner windlass lock: Windlasses that are bumped and unwind in transport have proven deadly. Our patent pending locking carabiner gate holds the windlass securely in place.
Textured Windlass: If you’re using a TQ, there will be slippery blood . . . a lot of it. Our textured windlass helps you get a grip in a life and death situation.
Chemlight: The included chemlight breaks upon application so first responders can see where TQ is applied at night.
Instructions: Simplified instructions are printed right on the TQ for those that don’t have medical experience or are in shock. A scannable QR code takes you to a step-by-step video tutorial. Watch here.
Heavy-duty construction: Our product is manufactured in the U.S.A. with the utmost quality materials, making it durable and long lasting. In addition to our exhaustive testing in extreme conditions, we ran over the ETQ with a 6,500 pound dually and then immediately applied it and it still performed perfectly! Check out the Torture Test Video
Water repellent: Unlike other TQ’s, the ETQ™ absorbs a minimal amount of water or sweat.
Specs:
Folded Size: Comparable to a G19 magazine. It fits in handgun mag pouches and kydex carriers.
Note on TQ width: The ETQ™ measures 37.5” long by 1” wide. Many people believe the gold standard TQ is wider than it actually is. However, If you closely examine one you’ll see that it’s only a 1” piece of webbing doing the constricting. Try it for yourself. Constrict your TQ across a foam roller and leave it for 30 minutes. Come back and measure the imprints. You’ll notice the width only measures 1”. A 1” functional width gets the job done and has been trusted for years.
If you’d still prefer a wider tourniquet, you can purchase our ETQ WIDE™
